Values and Focus on DEI

As the DEI movement matures, corporate stakeholders will be looking for evidence of innovation and success related to the elevation in status of DEI within the corporate structure. BlueWave’s corporate college counseling solution is available to employees across the entire enterprise, from C-suite executives, to middle managers, to hourly employees from clerical staff to those who work on the factory floor. Co-Founders

Lin Hermenitt, Ph.D.

Over the past 20+ years, Dr. Hermenitt has worked in multiple roles including time as an assistant professor of chemistry, an international corporate HR professional, and more recently an independent educational consultant and entreprenuer creating a new model for adolescent’s success. Dr. Hermenitt’s role as Managing Director at BlueWave focuses on leadership, strategic planning, and product development.

Dr. Hermenitt’s passion is helping people grow and achieve their dreams. From a Training Consultant at Motorola to an Asia Pacific Talent Management Manager at Corning, she has evaluated executives and developed talent pipelines across businesses. Dr. Hermenitt maintains membership in three professional organizations, NACAC, HECA and IECA with a particular focus on helping young people develop and achieve their dream of higher education.

Dr. Hermenitt holds a B.S. in Chemistry, a MBA in Marketing Management, and a Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development from Penn State University. She has developed attributes related to philosophical reasoning, engineering thinking in action, and strategic business perspectives.

Chris Hermenitt

Chris Hermenitt is an international executive with more than 20 years of operations experience across the automotive, renewable energy, and defense industries. He has managed teams in more than a dozen of countries, including during his time living in China and Japan. Chris has worked for several large, multinational companies including Henkel and Flex.

He is a Co-founder and COO of an international Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) company, Blue Torch USA. He volunteers for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and is currently a voting member in the organization that writes the ISO 9001 standard.

As BlueWave’s Chief Operations Officer, Chris uses his extensive corporate experience to do strategic planning and oversee the company’s developing operational affairs across finance and partner relationships.

He holds an MS in Engineering Management from Eastern Michigan University and a BA in Management and Organization Development from Spring Arbor University.
